Get ready to spice things up with our farm-fresh Venison Chilli. We've taken tender venison, straight from our fields, and combined it with a medley of aromatic spices, tomatoes, and beans. It's a chili that'll warm you up from the inside out and leave you feeling satisfied. Gather your loved ones around the kitchen table and enjoy this wholesome and flavourful dish.
Ingredients
2 lbs venison mince
2 large onions (chopped)
2-4 cloves garlic (minced)
2 stalks celery (chopped)
1 can chopped tomatoes
1 can red kidney beans
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 or 2 tablespoons chilli (depends on preference)
1 teaspoons oregano
1/4 teaspoons cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons tomato puree
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoons brown sugar
3-4 cloves
1 teaspoons white vinegar
2-4 beef stock cubes

For serving:
1 medium green pepper (chopped) - optional
Fresh coriander

Preparation
Step 1
In a large sauce pan cook the onion, garlic, celery and mince until the veg are tender and meat browned.
Step 2
Add chilli, oregano, cayenne and cumin cook for a minute.
Step 3
Add tomato's, kidney beans, cocoa powder, sugar, cloves, vinegar and stock cubes.Â
Step 4
Stir to combine and cook over a medium heat for 1 -2 hours.
Step 5
Finally add green pepper, coriander and soured cream just before servingÂ
